I′ll tell you, a story to make you sleep
It's about a place far away
It′s a Christmas story, from not so ancient times, about children looking forward to meet Christmas day

The children smiled without knowing, that their guest would soon be war
Big airplanes somewhere high in the sky, would turn Christmas into hell
They couldn't escape by running, and they couldn't even hide
Imagine how distorted adult mind, can kill children at Christmas time

Santa Claus is setting out to be there on time
U.S troops are checking out to commit yet another crime
As all the children are waiting for Santa Claus to come
Presents are falling from the sky but they are only bombs


Next Christmas you could be running, just like the children of Hanoi
′Cause outside this room is a devious world, and they′ll try to run you down
You'll be the lamb they lead to slaughter, and they will steal your mind
Not all smiling men are Santa Claus, ′cause evil rules their minds
